JUNIOR STAGS PROGRAMME!

GOLF FOUNDATION ACCREDITED - PATHWAY FROM BEGINNER TO MEMBER

Welcome to Junior Stags!

Our Junior Stags programme is proudly accredited as an HSBC Golf Foundation Golf Roots Centre! Join the Stags for just £30 annual subscription. Saturday sessions run throughout the day on Saturdays. We also have holiday programmes, hold monthly competitions at Kingsway Cambridge Par 3 course (formerly Cambridge Lakes) and play in the Golf Foundation GolfSixes League. Below is a list of Stags events currently in the calendar. You can sign up to events where there is a live link. You can sign up to the events whether you are a current Stag or attending for the first time. Newbies get a free taster Saturday training session. When you click on the link all the information you need should be there.

Saturday Training

Pay on the day. 24 hour cancellation.

If you cannot find the place you need it means the class is full. If this happens you complete the Stags Reserve List form: Stags Reserve List

SATURDAY TRAINING

Holiday Camps

Holiday camps usually take place on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 10.30 to 14.30. The cost per Stag is £30 and is open to both younger and senior Stags. During the day we cover all aspects of golf and have lots of fun and competitions. We stop for lunch around midday. Please note that lunch is not included in the cost. Stags can bring a packed lunch or purchase food and drink at the spikes bar.

How Par 3 Competitions Work

You can register up to 4 months in advance. Dates for 2025 are as follows:

26th April - MAJOR: The Masters!

28th June - MAJOR: The Open!

27th September - MAJOR: AUTUMN CLASSIC!

FAQs

Signing Up: The first Saturday session is free. You will then need to:

1) Complete the online registration form before the next session here:

Stags registration form.

2) Pay the £30 annual subscription in the Pro Shop. We will then issue you with the Stag's Annual Passport.

NB: Full members do not need to pay the £30 Stag membership.

Stags Booklet: Membership comes with a Stags Booklet that contains some vouchers for range balls, coaching, discount in the pro shop and a notes section to help them remember what they have learned.

Classes: Classes run 9.00-10.30 and 10.30-12.00. The cost is £12 per session, payable on the day.

Par 3 Competitions: On the last Saturday of each month we visit Kingsway Cambridge Par 3 course for a fun competition. There are no training sessions at Cambridge Country Club on these days. The cost is £13.

Holiday Sessions: We run camps during school holidays. The cost is £30 per session. You can sign up on this page.
